KillaSoundYard’s new album + 10”

killavinylFrench crew KillaSoundYard presents two new releases. The first one is 10” where on the A side you’ll find a great, steppers tune with a rootical flavour played by Bambool group. On the vocal we have voices known from previous releases – the duo Daman and Jacko, who sings about political autonomy. The B side is more digital one, with steady but heavy beat. Both tracks have massive dub versions prepared by Kayaman.

killa albumThe second release is a full album with 18 tracks, vocal and dub versions. KillaSoundYard invited many artists to cooperation: Bambool, Colocks, Jacko, Yann Sax and more. The album reflects their work from past two years and can be treated as KillaSoundYard showcase – we get both roots compositions with rich arrangement, nice parts of saxophone or beautiful clarinet and more digital, heavy riddims (“Social Earthquake” will test your speakers…). Vocally we hear mostly a mild voice of Daman, whose lyrics are mainly focused on social and political topics. This album is a great summary of KillaSoundYard style.

Both releases were issued by Root’zik Production label.
