ZamZam Sounds presents two new 7” with deep dub music. The first one comes from Rob Smith aka RSD, who puts his own style of warm bass, syncopated drums and a lot of ornaments and effects into two tracks – “World Hungry” and “Dub Pride”. Both of them cannot be easily qualified, which is their power – you hear so many different flavours here, all connected by hypnotising beat.
The second one contains “Crucify Me” (with a dub version) by Heights & Worship (Ras Heights of Ital Sound System, and Rob Paine of Worship Recordings and Solomonic Sound). This one drop riddim is fat, a little bit psychedelic, with dense atmosphere and a great vocal part by Carlton Livingston.
