Greetings Bass Campers!
It gives us great pleasure to announce the second edition of Bass Camp Weekender taking place between 30th of June and 3rd of July 2016 in Rudawka Rymanowska, Poland.
Far away from the city jungle, close to nature’s heart, wrapped up with low frequencies coming from the speakers of Roots Revival Sound System and Dubseed Sound System, we’ll be skanking to the music presented by a top a top Polish and international producers and selectors. On the top of that this year we want to introduce the Day Stage powered by Paproota.org Sound.System – new Soundsystem from Southern Poland and pioneer of netlabel releases in East Europe. Day Stage will run from 3PM until 9PM before Dub Stage and Bass Stage starts.
WORKSHOPS
Apart from the musical therapy we will start each day with ROOTS YOGA presented by Janek Kos and of course there will be a chance to attend lectures and workshops. We will host disscussion with our friend and last years performer Playaman responsible for sustainable building aka green building based on the case of his own house being built deep in Beskid Wyspowy mountains, we will “reason” with Jerry Lionz – guitar player of Twinkle Brothers, session musician of countless UK roots reggae releases
since late 70s until now and a prodcer just starting his own label – Lionz Den.
Last year’s interest in music production workshops was unbelievable so we decided to invite I-Mitri again and expand the workshops by inviting one of the best producers out of Poland and perfectionist – Marek Dreadsquad as well. You’ll be able to find out how to set up a mixing desk, sound card, software & effects, what do you need to start dubbing live, how to set up and use auxilary effects, how to use Ableton Live & Push to create and mix tracks, music theory basics – bars, beats, harmonies, melodies and all kind of tips and tricks.
FOOD & DRINKS
We are taking over one of the venue’s kitchens with our own dedicated crew. They will prepare vegan and vegetarian food and will be open from late breakfast-time through lunch, dinner until late night munchies. We will also be taking care of your thirst, all you beer drinkers! We are pleased to announce collaboration with our friends from one of the best craft breweries in Poland Inne Beczki. Among several taps everyone will be able to find something really nice: from freshly brewed lagers and pils through fruity, light radler to heavy IPA and APA. Stay tuned as we will have an additional surprise, prepared specially for Bass Camp!
For non alcoholic drinkers we will have a nice selection of natural stuff from the nearest natural health resort we could find based just 20km from Rudawka Rymanowska, where mineral springs were discovered in late XIX century and are well popular until now.
ACCOMODATION
As far as we know all rooms and camping houses are sold out but tent area is pretty much unlimited and is included in ticket price!
TRANSPORT
We are aware that journey to our festival might be long since we are deep in the mountain area. Parking space in the venue is limited so please try to share cars with others if you have space, also you’re more than welcome in our carsharing group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/468607043306888. If you choose public transport please go towards Krosno or Rymanow where you will be able to catch bus (local company “BESKID”) straight to Rudawka Rymanowska. We’ll get the schedule very soon. Give us a helping hand and please invite your friends to our event (its always better to party with good friends isn’t is?) and reserve the last weekend of June for Bass Camp Weekender 2016!
