It will be short because it’s hard to describe such things with word. This edition of WUF were ground-breaking, something like that didn’t happen in Warsaw yet. Three high power sound systems in one place – but the power doesn’t come only from the kilowatts. On the saturday we could feel it in every dimension, from the physical one to some kind of a spiritual state. Sound system culture gives us a strong bass massage with music that we love – and something more, a common experience of passion – from the selectors/owners of scoops, who dedicate a huge part of their lives to follow that path, to dig and attain unique music, which they present – everyone with different sound, in their own style. It’s the public – people, who hapilly jump all night long and in the morning they look like smiling zombies who are still hungry. It’s the organisers, who have to struggle with barriers to be able to run events like that. It’s also the culture, which spreads a great message – you just have to feel it, listen to it and leave the reality far behind for a moment. Let’s occupy the session!
PS. Sorry for the lack of summation of the dubstep scene – unfortunately, I’ve been there just for a while, but if you look at the posts added after the party there is no doubt that it was as good as the outside one.
