GuerillJah Productions – “Dub Minded” Riddim Sampler

Dub Minded Riddim Sampler Cover FrontOn 17th of December there was a premiere of riddim album by duo Hardy Digital & Longfingah, who usually work in Berlin and release their productions in their own label GuerillJah Productions. The newest riddim is a solid steppers with a strong bass line and drums that, in connection, give us a tough tune which doesn’t bore after listening to it 7 times. The people responsible for vocals are aforementioned Longfingah – known for cooperation i.a. with Lion’s Den, Illbilly Hitec, able to mix singing and chatting in a good style, Joseph B. Grant – a Jamaican veteran that has been creating i.a. with Still Cool, known from a hit “To be poor is a crime” released by Jah Shaka, praising The Highest One on GuerillJah rhythm making one of the best versions. French Rosa Shanti proves that woman voice is a real pearl when joined with dub music, another French artist Jahjah Man chats lively, just like Tonto Addi who has ragamuffin in his blood. On the end there are 2 versions – one by George Palmer, whose timbre is similar to Pupajim’s and the second one is chatted in Bosnian by Aca Pachuli. To sum up – keep up with GuerillJah productions and the German scene, which holds a lot of talents.
