It’s 4th release by the Croatians from Dubble, this time vocally backed up by recently very active Earl 16. The A side is owned by him – in ‘Signs of The Time’ his voice, on a heavy steppers rhythm with a lot of electronics, brings up a meditational mood and doesn’t let you forget important matters. The dub version is a great display of Dubble duo great FX abilities, also proved by B side and ‘Hurachi’, where inconspicuous brass instruments cause shivers and the deep bass alongside dark atmosphere create a soundsystem killer with a non-trivial dub version.
I hope they keep it up and please us with more music!
Some time ago we have presented records from Dubble with Molara on vocals. And here they again give us a musical bomb with Dan Man as a vocalist, who is known in Poland for cooperating with Radikal Guru. Dubble will play on Dub Temple in Cracow in two weeks thanks to Dubseed. The eponymous tune is a tough dub steppers with a drilling bass and Danman’s vocals reproaching politicians flaws. Of course there is a dub version which I consider better than the original one – vestigial vocals, echo and bass making me feel like if I were in the outer space. On the other side of the album there is a known tune “Rise Up”, which appeared on Dub Iration Soundsystem’s “The Lost Books of Dub” and a dub version, which is energetic and reminds of Gorgon Sound creations, what undoubtedly is a big plus.
I am glad that the Croatian will show up in poland and I am sure that they will make an unforgettable show.

Rok 2012 nie przestaje nas (dubhedów) zaskakiwać, choć to już ostatnie miesiące tego roku. Owe zaskoczenie jest związane z niesamowitą wokalistką Molarą (znaną z Zion Train) oraz z zespołem z Chorwacji Radikal Dub Kolektiv. Zarówno Molara, która odeszła z Zion Train i wycofała się z dubowej muzyki, tak i RDK kilka lat temu ogłosili swój rozpad. Na całe szczęście miłość do dubu jest silniejsza i możemy się cieszyć dwoma wydawnictwa z udziałem wyżej wspomnianych artystów. Radość jest tym większa, iż Molara występuje gościnnie z projektem Dubble który tworzą Vanya O i Dubolik z Radikal Dub Kolektiv, a sam zespół Radikal Dub Kolektiv wydał płytę “Hellness Centar”, na której w utworze “Pride” pojawia się Molara. Dziś skupię się na projekcie Dubble i Molarze, a wkrótce ukaże się też recenzja płyty Radikal Dub Kolektiv. Dubble jak już wspomniałem, to duet z Zagrzebia wywodzący się z RDK, mają już na swoim koncie 10′ z Echo Ranksem która wyszła na poczatku tego roku. Teraz raczą nas kolejną 10” tym razem z Molarą – dla fanów Zion Train to napewno “wesoła nowina”, bo ostatnio udzielała się w różnych projektach, niekoniecznie dubowych m.in z The Knights of the Occasional Table, Femi Kuti, Loop Guru, Neil Sparkes and The Last Tribe, Soul Captain Band, Maggie Nicols, Zubop Gambia, Baka Beyond, One Voice Choir i Mad Professor . Wracając do płyty – Molara wyśpiewuje piękny tekst autorstwa Colina z Power Steppers o tytule “Crown of creation”, a chorwacki duet uzupełnił dobrym dubem w stylu Abassi z dobrym dęciakiem,oczywiście mamy także porządną dub wersję. Druga strona 10′ to już instrumentalny popis Dubble w “South sound”, który jest konkretnym steppersem, jest również wersja z melodiką która czyni ten kawałek jeszcze ciekawszym i lepszym. Na koniec polecę wam kawałek Dubble ze składanki “The lost books of dub [chapter 2]” o tytule “Rise up” oraz 10″ z Echo Ranksem.
