10 marca 2012 do sklepów muzycznych trafi trzeci producencki album łódzkiego soundsystemu Dreadsquad. Płyta wydana w labelu Superfly Studio dostępna będzie jako CD (ekologiczny digipack), mp3/wav oraz zestaw dwunastocalowych płyt winylowych (trzy single oraz album sampler z ośmioma utworami).
Album The Riddim Machine to 16 kompozycji utrzymanych w stylistyce reggae / ska / rockstedy / digital / dancehall / dubstep wyprodukowanych przez Dreadsquad a nagranych wspólnie z czołówką światowej sceny reggae. Na płycie nie zabraknie również polskich akcentów w postaci utworu z Kasią Malendą, dubstepowego remiksu autorstwa Radikal Guru czy reggae’owej wersji nostalgicznego utworu Mieczysława Fogga „To ostatnia niedziela”.
Przez ostatnie 2 lata Dreadsquad współpracował z licznymi artystami z Jamajki (U Brown, Perfect Giddimani, Ward 21, Skarra Mucci), Wielkiej Brytanii (Blackout JA, Lady Chann, Kenny Knots, El Fata, Tenor Fly, Deadly Hunta), Niemiec (Dr Ring Ding), USA (Jahdan Blakkmore i Kush Arora). Efekty tej współpracy można było obserwować na bieżąco śledząc wydawnictwa z rodzimego labelu Superfly Studio a także niemieckich wytwórni African Beat czy Germaica oraz greckiego Cast-a-Blast. Dreadsquad obok Radikal Guru stał się jednym z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych polskich producentów na globalnej scenie reggae, sprzedając swoje single w całej Europie czy chociażby w Japonii. Produkcje łódzkiego soundsystemu notorycznie trafiają na pierwsze miejsca sprzedaży w sklepach mp3.

Probably not many knows The Grinders, I’m not suprised to be honest – I have discovered them recently and with great joy I report to you about new release of this duo, which makes music in rub-a-dub fashion. It is also another crew, which try to join modern vibes with classics and top vocals help them – undisputed master Ranking Joe on strong hip-hop riddim, the first lady of classic dancehall Lady Ann at her best and Tippa Irie, who has been a little bit unseen lately. We have amazing version Sizzla’s tune with Squdily Cole on this album – definitely for bass lovers, but having a little in common with dub. For fans of classics we got excellent “Living in the jungle” Squildy Cole & Tabby Diamond from Mighty Diamonds. At the end we have several dub versions, two of which deserves attention – “Trample Down Babylon” and “Let Me Rock you” with U-Brown vocal parts (who a year earlier recorded his full album with The Grinders).
