After 2 greatly appreciated releases, Manchester’s dubheads present us a dub roller with two amazing vocalists – Cornell Campbell and Wayn McArthur. It’s 3rd album released in their own label Dubconductor Music, on the previous ones we could hear i.a. Iration Steppas, Bunnington Judah, Dixie Peach or Reality Souljahs, what shows us that they set high standard – both guests and music are outstanding.
In “Crisis” Cornell Campbell sings his view about the world crisis and warns us of it, perfectly fitting the militant rhythm that reminds a bit of French dud productions. There is also a dub version of this tune, which sweeps me off my feet. For the balance, Wayne says about a lighter things – listening to “Festival Warriors” makes you want to celebrate the life and in addition, Dub Conductor gives us a rough dub version making you wish to be on a dub session. What can I say more – another hit for every dub selector!
