Crazy duo of The Grinders is back in action! Some time ago we wrote about their album (http://dubmassive.org/8254/the-grinders-under-arrest) and this time they take us to a journey of music and film. The whole concept of the album is related to the legendary film “Star Wars“, so every fan of this saga must hear how dub competes with well-known motifs. A rub a dub “Original Lord Vader” opens the EP, then we are attacked by a quite dark “Digital Vader”, slightly falling into ragga climates. In “Ganja force” we are hit by a heavy bass, a dub atmosphere and the melody of “imperial march“. At the end we get a “Don’t mess with Jabba,” a digital reggae with vocals by Jabba. To sum up – I have never been a fan of the “Star Wars“, but this interpretation of the topic convinces me to catch up on watching.
