Mungo’s Hi Fi are very active. Soon after great albums with remixes (http://dubmassive.org/tag/mungos-hi-fi) they present another releases.
We will start from a LP, where the crew meets excellent ragamuffin and sound system warrior – Charlie P. After plenty of singles and collaborations the time for a full release has come for this young and talented vocalist, who has started his musical journey when he was a kid.
This showcase presents both Mungo’s and Charlie P from their best side. Classic and modern reggae/dancehall vibes, future bass sounds and dubstep rhythms, all combined with singing, deejaying, fast chatting. Fire on the dancefloors guaranteed.

A brand new 7” from ZamZam Sounds is out now! Croatian producer Egoless has rebuilt Sly&Robbie’s classic riddim “Revolution”, mostly known from a vocal version with Dennis Brown. In his version we have beautiful, soulful voice of Senegalese roots reggae singer Daba Makourejah, who is singing an inspired lyric in Wolof on the importance of education in the upliftment of a country’s youth. Egoless’ riddim is an excellent work with rich effects, sound and masterful dub mixing.
